Holder, Sheriff, presented monthly report of the activities of <br /> the Sheriff's Department: • ' <br /> Dr. Jack Robertson,' County Health Officer; • presented the monthly report <br /> for the County Health Department and the monthly report of the County <br /> Sanitarian. <br /> Miss Monica Brown, County Home Demonstration Agent, presented <br /> monthly report of the activities of her office for the month of February, 1958. <br /> K. S. Harman, County Farm Agent, presented monthly report of the <br /> County Agent's Office for the month of February, 1958. <br /> Mr. Bert Vila and other interested citizens appeared before the Board <br /> to request that the application of Bryan-Heights Rural Fire Department be <br /> approved for financial assistance. <br /> There followed a general discussion of the organization of the Bryan- <br /> Heights Fire Department and the need for additional rural fire fighting facilities <br /> in the County. No formal action was taken by the Board, but the County <br /> attorney was instructed to assist the residents of the Greenwood District in <br /> their efforts to set up an organization for the operation of a Rural Fire <br /> Department. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting <br /> was adjourned. <br /> Chairman <br /> Attested: <br /> Clerk , • <br />
