r - <br /> . <br /> • <br /> Commissioner Winstead moved that the following resolution be adopted: <br /> WHEREAS, a bond order entitled "Bond Order authorizing the issuance <br /> of $67, 000School,Bonds of the County of Lee", has been introduced at the <br /> meeting of the.Board of Commissioners held on April 21, 1958, and the <br /> Board of Commissioners desires to provide for the holding of a public hearing <br /> thereon as required by the County Finance Act: NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board.of Commissioners of the County of Lee <br /> as follows: <br /> (1) The public hearing upon said bond order shall be held on the 5th day <br /> of May, 1958, at 10:00 o'clock in the forenoon at the regular meeting room <br /> of the Board of Commissioners at the Court House in Sanford, North Carolina. <br /> (2) The Clerk of the Board of Commissioners is hereby directed to <br /> cause a copy of said bond order to be published with a notice of such hearing <br /> in the form prescribed by law, in The Sanford Herald, a newspaper published <br /> at Sanford,in the County of Lee, at least ten days prior to such public hearing. <br /> (3) The County Accountant is hereby requested to file with the Clerk of <br /> the Board of Commissioners, at least ten days prior to such public hearing, <br /> statements of the debt incurred or to be incurred by the County for school <br /> purposes and for other than school purposes, in the form prescribed by <br /> the County Finance Act. <br /> The motion having been seconded by Commissioner Cheshire it was unani- <br /> mously adopted. <br /> At the suggestion of the County Attorney, the resolution adopted by the <br /> Lee County Board of Education was incorporated within the minutes of this <br /> meeting, said resolution being as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, the County Board of Education of the County of Lee has <br /> ascertained that the existing school facilities in the Lee County School <br /> • <br /> Administrative'Unit are not adequate for the maintenance of public schools <br /> within such, Unit, and that it via: will be necessary to provide the additional <br /> • <br /> school facility, hereinafter described for such Unit: NOW, THEREFORE, <br />
