Cheshire, <br /> Clyde J. Atkins and Sion H. Kelly. • <br /> Chairman Percy Measamer ,presided and-the following business was <br /> transacted: . <br /> The Clerk presented to the Board a copy of a resolution adopted by <br /> the County Board of Education requesting the Board of Commissioners to <br /> appropriate $67, 000 for additional school facilities. The resolution was <br /> considered. • <br /> Commissioner Winstead introduced the followhg bond order which <br /> was read at length: - • <br /> . <br /> BOND ORDER AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $67, 000 SCHOOL <br /> BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF LEE. <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, the County Board of Education of the County of Lee has <br /> determined that it is necessary to provide the additional school plant <br /> facility hereinafter described, so that the public schools in the County of <br /> Lee may be maintained as a part of the system of public schools of the <br /> State of North Carolina, for the nine months' school term required by law, <br /> and that it will be necessary to expend for such school plant facility sums <br /> amounting in the aggregate to more than $67, 000, in addition to other <br /> money available therefor: NOW, THEREFORE, • <br />
