and upon checking with the maps, I found that the descriptions covered property that I owned and on which I have had a cotton patch for the past 15 years. I called Mr. Harrington and advised him that I owned the property. However, pending clarification of the matter, Mr. Harrington proceeded with the sale at Noon on May 23rd as advertised when and where I appeared in person and objected to the sale on the grounds that the property belonged to me. No other bidders were present at the sale, and out of an abudance of precaustion, I, . under protest, placed a bid for $100. 00 for the property. Therefore, I will appreciate your Board passing a resolution authorizing a deed of conveyance for this property from Lee County to W. R Williams, The tax was paid by Father George Mills which was a partnership and during the operation of this partnership title to such property as was purchased, was taken in my name for that some of the other partners resided outside of the State of North Carolina. Spivey in East Sanford Township had been listed for taxes and that the tax had been paid by Mr. Williams. Commissioner Winstead moved that the following resolution be adopted: WHEREAS, the bond order hereinafter described has been finally adopted by the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Commissioners desires to borrow money for the purpose for which bonds are authorized by said bond order as hereinafter provided; NOW, THEREFORE, '
