0 S <br /> Commissioner Winstead moved the adoption of the following resolution, <br /> to-wit: <br /> • <br /> "Be it resolved that for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1959 there is <br /> hereby appropriated, in addition to the sums heretofore appropriated for <br /> said fiscal year, for the aid to dependent children, the sum of $3, 600. 00" <br /> Commissioner Groce seconded the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br /> and the vote on the same was as follows: <br /> Winstead - aye <br /> Kelly - aye <br /> Measamer - absent <br /> Groce - aye <br /> Atkins - aye <br /> On motion of Commissioner Winstead, which motion was seconded by <br /> Commissioner Atkins, a road petition submitted by W. C. Farrell was <br /> unanimously adopted. The road- located in Greenwood Township runs from <br /> Lemon Springs Road to Mrs. C. L. McDuffies' home back to Lemon Springs <br /> road at N. N. Finchers and is known as the Walter T. Spivey Road. The <br /> petition requests that the road be added to the State Highway system, and <br /> maintained and improved. <br /> E. P. Clark, Caretaker of the Courthouse, reported on the condition <br /> of all buildings owned by the County. <br /> Mrs. Nette B. Keith, Register of Deeds', presented her report on the <br /> collection of fees by the Register of Deeds office for the month of April, 1959. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Atkins, which-motion was seconded <br /> by Commissioner Groce, the County Attorney was authorized and directed to <br /> draw a bill to be presented to'the Legislature allowing the Board of <br /> Commissioners to set fee to be charged by the Register of Deeds and Clerk <br /> of Superior Court. <br /> There being no further business to come'before the Board, the meeting <br /> was adjourned. <br /> Chairman <br /> • <br /> Attest: <br /> Clerk <br />
