Richmond 6.39 Dead <br /> 4 <br /> On motion of Commissioner Measamer, which motion was seconded <br /> by Commissioner Winstead, it was unanimously 'resolved by the Board <br /> that the County Attorney be authorized, instructed and directed to <br /> prepare deeds for the exchange of land in the vicinity of Lee <br /> County Home by James Watson and the County of Lee in accordance <br /> with plat and survey prepared by J. Chandler Eakes, County Surveyor. <br /> Lewis Brown, Jailer, appeared before the Board to inquire as to <br /> whether or not female prisoners should be accepted for safekeeping <br /> at the Lee County jail. After discussion of this problem, Com- <br /> missioner Winstead then moved that the jailer be authorized, in- <br /> structed and directed to accept female prisoners at the Lee County <br /> jail. This motion was seconded by Commissioner Groce and the same <br /> was adopted by the unanimous vote of the Board. <br />
