Davenport, Lee <br /> County Public Welfare Board members, requested. that the Board of • <br /> Commissioners lease from Wilkins Supply Company a house located <br /> on Martin Street near Makepeace Street, for the Welfare Office: <br /> • .J. G. Edwards, Attorney for Wilkins Supply Company presented a <br /> • contract which provided that the County lease said property from <br /> Wilkins Supply Company on the condition that , certain repairs and <br /> additions to the building be completed at a monthly rental of <br /> $250.00. Thereupon, Commissioner MeasaMer moved that the Chairman <br /> of the Board and the Clerk to the Board be authorized and directed <br /> to execute said contract and agreement for and-.in behalf of the • <br /> County.
