<br /> unanimously resolved that policy be establishedas follows:
<br /> 1. That all County employees be credited with the total
<br /> . annual leave at the end of each fiscal year and that annual leave
<br /> ' be credited on a fiscal year basis.
<br /> 2. That annual leave be non-cumulative.
<br /> 3. That County employees, upon termination of employment
<br /> with the County, be. paid for unused annual leave accumulated
<br /> during the then current fiscal year.
<br /> 4. That County employees, upon termination of employment
<br /> with the County, not be paid for the unused sick leave accumulated
<br /> during the then current fiscal year.
<br /> Upon the recommendation of Mrs. Nette Keith, Register of Deeds
<br /> Commissioner Measamer moved- that the salary of Mrs. Robbins,
<br /> Assistant Register of Deeds, be increased 'el() per month and that
<br /> the salary of Mrs. J. R. Lynch, Assistant Register of Deeds, be
<br /> increased $10 per week, both effective as of Mayyl, 1960. The
<br /> motion was seconded by Commissioner Atkins and the vote on the
<br /> same was as follows:

<br /> The budget request for the fiscal year 1960-1961 for thy Lee
<br /> County Forest Fire Control was presented by Mr. Fred Moehler.
<br /> The Board then heard 0. T. Sloan, R. Barry Beard and Henry
<br /> Poe, members of the Sanford RecreationtParks Commission and Hardy
<br /> Croom, Recreational Director, and received the budget request for
<br /> the Recreation Commission for the fiscal year 1960,1961.
<br /> The Board received the report of Mrs,. Laura D. Rosser, Super-
<br /> intendent of Public Welfare, • and Mrs. Rosser presented the budget
<br /> request for the Welfare Department for the 'fiscal year. 1960-1961.
<br /> Upon recommendation of Mrs. Laura D. Rosser; .Superintendent of
<br /> Public Welfare, Commissioner Winstead moved that the sum of $300
<br /> in the Public.Welfare budget be transferred from the .$terilization
<br /> account to the, fiublic assistant account and that the sum of $24.08
<br /> in the public welfare budget be transferred from did to the ,Olind
<br /> account to the Zoarding (home eare account. The motion ,was secondec
<br /> by Commissioner Measamer and the vote on the same was as follows:

<br /> Mr. J. J. Lentz, Superintendent of Lee County Schools, pre-
<br /> sented the budget request for the fiscal year 1960-1961" for theLee
<br /> County Board of Education.
<br /> Dr. David O. Garvin, ,District Health Officer, presented the
<br /> budget request for the District Health Department for the fiscal •
<br /> year 1960-1961.
<br /> Mr. L. L. Beckham, Director of Civil Defense, presented his
<br /> monthly report and the budget request for Sanford-Lee County Civil
<br /> Defense for the fiscal year 1960-1961.
