<br /> COUNTY AND ITS VARIOUS AGENCIES, FOR THE . .

<br /> WHEREAS, on the 5tt1 day of July, 194, a tentative budget was
<br /> considered and adopted by the Boar&I„of Commissioners of Lee County for
<br /> the fiscal year ending June 30, 196 , and the same caused to -be filed in
<br /> . - the Office of the Register of Deeds, where it has remained on file in said
<br /> office for public inspection for a period of more than twenty (20) days, and •
<br /> has been advertised in a newspaper and otherwise as provided by law; and
<br /> whereas, no objections or exceptions have been made to said budget and
<br /> • no citizens have requested-to be heard thereon and_ no complaint with
<br /> reference thereto-has been made; and whereas, it appears that said tentative
<br /> budget and estimate i now in order for final adoption; therefore,, on motion
<br /> of Co missioner "jbb/4 1 Cey , duly seconded by Commissiorer

<br /> adopted, to-wit: ' .

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED that-a tax rate of one dollar and fbrtr--five cents on
<br /> each/kindred dollars valuatipn of taxable property in Livie County.for the fiscal
<br /> . year beginning July 1, 19601:, and ending June 30, 196X,, be and the same is
<br /> hereby adopted, fixed and established.
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a tax rate of fifteen cents on each
<br /> one hundred dollars valuation of taxable property in Sanford Graded School
<br /> District and-a tax rate of fifteen cents on each one'hundred dollars valuation
<br /> • ' of taxable property in Jonesboro Graded School District, be and the same
<br /> • her by is adopted, fixed and •established for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
<br /> . 196f, and ending June '30, "196 ; the said rate to-be used to supplement the
<br /> ' school funds of said districts in order to maintain schools at a higher
<br /> standard than the established State maximum. 1
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> Section 1. That for the expenses of the operation of the County
<br /> Government of Lee Counttin its various activities and agencies, and for
<br /> the payment of interesttredemption'of bonds,yaad-raeecem.u+atien-of-si.nk-ing
<br /> € d.s-for the fiscal year ending June'30; 196k, the amounts shown in the-
<br /> following schedules or so much of each as may be necessary are hereby
<br /> appropriated. • .
