$E IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of <br /> Lee County, as follows: <br /> (1) That the annual salary for the position of Solicitor <br /> of County Criminal Court be set at $2, 400i00; <br /> (2) That the annual salary for serving as Assistant <br /> to the District Solicitor be set at $1, 800.00; <br /> (3) That said sums to be disbursed,in monthly payments <br /> of $350.00; <br /> (4) That these rates of compensation be effective from <br /> and after the 1st day of February, 1961. <br /> Commissioner Cox seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Commissioner Groce moved the adoption of the following: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of <br /> Lee County as follows: <br /> (1) That the monthly salary of S. L. Campbell as <br /> Superintendent of the County Home be set at $185.00; <br /> (2) That the monthly salary of Mrs. S. L. Campbell <br /> as Assistant Superintendent of the County Home be set at <br /> $65.00. <br /> Commissioner Measamer seconded the motion and upon a vote <br /> it was unanimously carried. <br /> Commissioner Measamer moved the adoption of the following: <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Lee <br /> County that the salary for the month of January, 1961, for the <br /> office of Solicitor of the County Court and Assistant to the District <br /> Solicitor be paid to the two successive occupants of said office in <br /> proportion to the number of terms of County Criminal Court held <br /> by each; that is, Mr. Williams shall be paid 3/4ths of the monthly <br /> salary and Mr. Harrington shall receive 1/4th of the monthly <br /> salary. <br /> Commissioner Groce seconded themotion and,upon a vote, it was <br /> unanimously carried. <br /> Mrs. J. H. Sheer and Mrs. H. C. Cameron appeared before the <br /> Board requesting assistance in getting the rural road known as Wilkins <br /> Drive paved. <br /> Mr. H. V. Fenstamacher appeared and requested the Chairman to <br /> appoint a committee from the Board to work with individuals to provide <br /> ambulance service in the event the existing companies discontinue their <br /> service. Upon motion of Commissioner Winstead, duly seconded, the <br /> matter was tabled by a unanimous vote. <br />
