Coaster Joined the meeting and partici- <br /> pated in tlw further deliberations of the Board. <br /> Commissioner Ledwell bad the Clerk read the following <br /> resolution: <br /> TO THE HONORABLE COUNTY COMA OF <br /> LEE COUNT?; GREETINGS: <br /> WHEREAS Almighty God in his infinite <br /> wisdom did, on the 12th day of April, in the year of our Lord <br /> Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-Four, call to his Heavenly regard <br /> the Herlerahlt Clawson L. Williams, late of this County; <br /> AND WIThREAL, the said Clawson L. <br /> Williams did r`en+ge valuable and distineulahed service to <br /> this County anca State and to his fellow man for a period of <br /> 12 years as District Solicitor and for a period of 30 years <br /> as Superior Court Judge of this District; <br /> AND WHEREAS, it has become the custom <br /> for portraits of es4siesu ruesatbers of the Bar of this County to <br /> be placed in the Courtroom of the Lee County Courthouse; <br /> AND WHEREAS, the said Clawson L. <br /> Williams did, as a member of the Bar of this County for <br /> mare than fifty years of his life, lend to said Courtroom, <br /> and cc this County and District, Dignity, Justice, Honor acid <br /> Integrity; <br /> MIV WHEREAS. it befits this Board to <br /> express its appreciation for the Life and Service of this citizen <br /> of Lee County; <br /> IT IS, THEREFORE,, MOVED that it be <br /> ItESOLVW by this Board that a committee consisting of one mem- <br /> ber of this Board and two members of the Lee County Bar <br /> Aesoct' s e be appointed by the Chairman of this Board for <br /> the purpose of having a portrait painted of the late Judger <br /> Claween L.
