A group representing the mental health clinic appeared before the Board. It appeared that some of the backers of the private group desired that the private corporation remain the local mental health authority rather than the County to a?sums such position. The Board having voted on July 6, 1964 to establish a local mental health service did not accede to this request. The Board advised the troup that it expected the advisory board to give close and continuing supervision to the mental health service but that the ultimate control must rest with the Board since they are furnishing the funds. The meeting rece.sed for lunch at 12:00 o' clock noon. The mooting reconvened at 2:00 o' clock P. M. with all members present except CoTmiaaioner Atkins. Commissioner Cox moved that a jury be drawn for Civil term of Superior Court beginning on October 12th, 1964. Commissioner Ledwell seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
