500K 6 PACE 379 Page Eight <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner McLeod, seconded by Commissioner Yow, <br /> it was unanimously resolved to award the insurance program to D.F. Harris & Son, <br /> the low bidder, and to take broad form coverage on the boiler and pressure vessel <br /> policy, by a roll call vote as follows: <br /> . AYE: Kelly, Ledwell, McLeod, Yow and Dotterer <br /> NAY: None <br /> Clerk was instructed to have insurance agent,inspect boilers at county <br /> home building and library. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Kelly, seconded by Commissioner Yow, <br /> it was unanimously resolved to give notice to depositories that Lee County I.E.C. funds <br /> were county funds and were to be secured by same hypothecation as other county funds. <br /> Mr. D.S. Coltrane, Special Assistant to Governor Moore for race <br /> relations, appeared before the Board and recommended the appointment of a Good <br /> Neighbor Council for the County. At the request of the Board, the Mayor of the City of <br /> Sanford, and several members of the Board of Aldermen, the Chairman of the Lee County <br /> Board of Education, and the Chairman of the Sanford City Board of Education were <br /> present for the discussion with Mr. Coltrane. <br /> Written reports were received from the Sheriff, Clerk of Superior Court, <br /> and the Health Departments. <br /> There being no further business to come before the session it was <br /> adjourned sine die. <br /> John E.
