The Clerk reported that the State Highway Commission had forwarded notice that Kendal's Road and McDaniel Drive have bean added to the Secondary Road system maintained by the State. The minutes of the Regular and Special Meeting held In January were approved and ordered reoarded. Commissioner McLeod moved that the Social Security Administaniton make its Sanford office a resldSint station which would mean that a representative would be available to serve the public at all times. Doi. Dattcrer reported on his efforts to secure the present post office site for county purposes. The Clerk reported on his correspondence with the Adjuvant General of the State of North Carolina, relative to the Armory In Sanford, end hie correspondence with Mr. Nathan Yahoo of the Local Government Employees Retirement System. Mr. George Freemen and its. Charles Janes from William F. Frecantne.incorporated, appeared before the Board and gave a rye of pertosmel and projects and indicated their willingness to ee •as engineers en any project the County might wish to undertake.
