600K 6 PACE 439 <br /> The petition was discussed by die two Boards but no formal action was taken at <br /> this time. <br /> The County Board of Education requested permission to purchase a lot on Evergreen <br /> Street adjoining the County's property. The matter was taken under consideration and no <br /> formal action was taken at the time. <br /> The County Board of Education requested approval of completion of the addition <br /> to its administrative building which can be done out of capital outlay funds on hand and does <br /> not require any additional appropriation from the County. Commissioner Kelly moved that <br /> approval be granted on that basis. Commissioner Yow seconded die motion and it was unan- <br /> imously approved by a roll call vote as follows: <br /> AYE: Kelly, Ledwell, McLeod, Yow and Dotterer <br /> NAY: None <br /> Mr. Nathan Crissman, Tax Collector, appeared before the Board and gave a <br /> report on his collections for die month of February. <br /> Chairman Dotterer announced there would be a conference with Mr. John Sanders, <br /> Director at the Institute of Government in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Friday, March 11, 1966 at <br /> 3:30 o'clock p.m. to discuss the survey of joint governmental functions. <br /> There being no further business to come before the session it was adjourned <br /> sine die. <br /> John E.
