.~lards, Director of the Central Carolina Technical Institute, appeared before the Board with Mr. Jerry Barnette, n tneaxber of his faculty, who teaches the Agriculture Science course. After hearing their request, the Board granted the Technical institute pettnteeion to use the land around the Adult riducation Center for agricultural dernoastration purposes with the exception of the area being used by the vocational agriculture class of Central High School. :ate. Upon motion of Conimissioner :.1cLeod, duly seconded, and unanimously adopted, it was i;: SU•L r'1 D to offer the position of Electrical Inspector to Mr. John Fred Wood, to begin September 15, 1966, at an annual salary of $6, t;W. GO, plus trans- portation and the Chairman was authorized and empowered to enter into a written agroerment with the City of Sanford for compensation of Mr. Wood as inspector.
