CREDITS 1 132 140 14 <br /> Percentage of taxes collected 94.00% • <br /> The Statement of Settlement was reviewed and discussed and upon <br /> motion by Commissioner McLeod, seconded by Commissioner Kelly, the settle- <br /> ment was approved and ORDERED recorded, by a unanimous roll call vote, as <br /> follows: <br /> Aye: Kelly, McLeod, Yaw and Dotterer <br /> No : alone <br /> Commissioner Kelly moved that an order of collection be issued by <br /> the Chairman and delivered to the Tax Collector, along with the tax records. <br /> Cotraniattioner Yew seconded the rnotiai and it was unanimously <br /> adapted. The Chairman executed and delivered the origtnal order of collection, <br /> which is as follows: <br /> NORTH CAROL.INA <br /> LEE COUNTY <br /> TO THE TAX COLLECTOR OF LEE COUNTY - <br /> YOU are hereby authorized, empowered and commanded <br /> to collect the taxes set forth in the tax books, filed in the office <br /> of the Tax Supervisor, and in the tax receipts 'herewith delivered <br /> to you, in the amounts and from the taxpayers likewise set forth, <br /> and such taxes are hereby declared to be a first•lien on all real <br /> property of the respective tax payers in Lee County, and this order <br /> tsbnU be a full and sufficient authority to direct, require and enable <br /> you to levy on and sell any real or personal property of such tax <br /> payers, for and on account thereof, in accordance with law. <br /> Witness my hand and official seal, this 6th day of <br /> September, 1966. <br /> (Signed) Jobe E.
