NOW, THERL EUR 'E.., be it resolved by the Board <br /> of County Commissioners of the County of Lee that the <br /> State Highway Commission is hereby requested to review <br /> the above described road, and to take over the road for <br /> maintenance if it meets established standards and criteria. <br /> Commissioner Vow seconded the motion and upon u vote it was <br /> unanimously adopted. <br /> Chairman Dotterer had the Clerk read the reply from the State <br /> Highway Coinrniasion with respect to the Board's request to reduce the speed <br /> limits on Secondary Roads in Breezewood Acres near Tramway. The Clerk <br /> was instructed to inform Mr. Joe Thomas of the decision reached by the High- <br /> way Authorities. <br /> The monthly statements were examined and reviewed. Upon <br /> motion of Commissioner Kelly, seconded by Commissioner ivicLeod and suuantenously <br /> adopted, it was RESOLVED to pay the monthly bills as tabulated by the County <br /> Accountant and supported by purchase orders and statements. <br /> Con;ndsaioner Vow reported on his meetings with the City Manager <br /> of Sanford to review applications for the position of Electrical Inspector. The <br /> applications received were circulated for study by Members of the Board. <br /> C. N. Childress appeared before the Board and presented a <br /> petition requesting the addition of the Childress Road off of Secondary Road <br /> 1149 in Jonesboro Township to the State Maintained Systems. <br /> Cottirrtisaigner Kelly moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br /> W EREAS, the attached petition has been filed with the <br /> Board of County Commissioners of the County of Lee, requesting <br /> that the above described road, the Location of which has been <br /> indicated in red on the attached map, be added to the Secondary <br /> Road System; and <br /> WHiiRelAS, the Board of County Commissioners is of <br /> the opinion that the above described road should be added to the <br /> Secondary Road System. if the road meets minimum standards <br /> and criteria established by the State Highway Commission for the <br /> addition of roads to the System. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the .Board of <br /> County Commissioners of the County of Lee chat the State <br /> Highway Conurdsaion is hereby requested to review the above <br /> described road, and to take over the road for maintenance if <br /> it meets established standards and criteria. <br /> Conmlissioner Yow seconded the motion and upon a vote it <br /> was unanimously adopted. <br /> Mr. Nathan Crisman, Tax Collector, appeared before the Board and <br /> presented his statement for settlement, which Is as follows: <br /> CHARGES <br /> Regularly Listed Taxes $ 1 119 043 15 <br /> Discoveries 2 2fi4 f;tl <br /> Penalties 5 682 12 <br /> Costs 803 00 <br /> Schedule "B" Licenses 4 *7 07 <br /> TOTAL CHARGES S 1 132 140 14 <br />
