soon 7 arc' 169' <br />AYE: McLeod, White, Wicker, Yow and Dotterer <br />NO: None <br />The Chairman reported that he had been advised that the jury <br />Commission had completed its work and that a copy of their minutes had been received <br />and was presented to the Board at tlus time. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Yow, seconded by Commissioner White, <br />and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED to give the County employees fruit baskets <br />and the expenditure of up to $4.00 per basket was authorized. <br />Mr. Paul Cragan appeared before the Board and advised them that he <br />had been re-appointed to the State Sanatorium Commission and had just taken the oath <br />of office from the Clerk of the Superior Court. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Yow, seconded by Commissioner White, <br />and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED to observe December 25th, 26th, 1967, and <br />January 1st, 1968, as Holidays, and to authorize the closing of County offices on those <br />dates. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Wicker, <br />it was RESOLVED to appropriate the sum of $100.00 from the unappropriated surplus in <br />the General Fund for the expenses of the Good Neighbor Council. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: <br />AYE: McLeod, White, Wicker, Yow and Dotterer <br />NO: None <br />The meeting recessed for lunch at twelve o'clock noon. <br />The meeting reconvened after the noon recess at two o'clock p. m. <br />with all Commissioners present. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted. <br />James L. Clark, Tax Supervisor, appeared before the Board and pre- <br />sented a schedule of valuations to be used in listing property. After discussion and <br />review, upon motion of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Yow, and <br />unanimously adopted, it was resolved to adopt the schedule presented by the Tax <br />Supervisor.
