BOOK 7 PAGE M <br />Said notice shall be published three times and there shall be an <br />interval of at least one week between said publications and the first of such publications <br />shall be not later than forty-five days prior to the date of such election. <br />(3) The polls for said election shall be opened and closed at the times <br />and at the places stated in said notice and electors shall be registered for said election in <br />the manner stated in said notice. <br />(4) The County Board of Elections is hereby requested to print and <br />distribute the necessary ballot-labels and to provide the registration books, booths, <br />voting machines and other equipment for the holding of said election and to conduct and to <br />supervise said election. <br />Commissioner Wicker seconded the motion and the motion was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wicker and unanimously adopted, it was duly authorized to install an extendion phone <br />in the Vault in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court. <br />Commissioner Wicker called to the attention of the Board that the <br />Post Office at Lemon Springs was being closed. Upon motion made, seconded and <br />unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED to oppose the closing of the Post Office in <br />Lemon Springs as being contrary to the best interests of the people in that community. <br />There being no further business to come before the Session, it <br />was adjourned sine die. <br />
