GGOK 1 PAGE277 WHEREAS, the attached petition has been filed with the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Lee requesting that the above described road, the location of which has been indicated in red on the attached map, be added to the Secondary Road System,, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is of the opinion that the above described road should be added to the Secondary Road System, if the road meets minimum standards and criteria established by the State Highway Commission for the addition of roads to the System. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Lee that the State Highway Commission is hereby requested to review the above described road, and to take over the road for maintenance if it meets estab- lished standards and criteria. Commissioner Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Upon motion of Commissioner McLeod, seconded by Wicker, it was unanimously resolved to authorize the appraisal of the Courthouse Annex by the Sanford Board of Realtors and the sum of $125.00 was appropriated from the contingency and emergency fund for this purpose. The roll call vote was as follows: AYE: McLeod, Wicker, Yow NO : None The Clerk was instructed to obtain information concerning applications for interest free planning loans under the program of Advances for Public Works Planning as sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The bids submitted for fur lt~ a tank and petroleum pump were examined and reviewed. The low bid~o Ol~uipment MaintenanceCompany of Sanford for a 8, 000 gallon underground tank with a heavy duty pump with a 16 key- lock system was accepted upon motion of Commissioner Wicker, seconded by Commissioner McLeod.
