Medlin <br />Notary Public <br />My commission expires: <br />9-13-69 <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Wicker, seconded by Commissioner <br />White, it was RESOLVED to authorize the Chairman and Clerk to execute, on behalf <br />of the Board, a quitclaim deed to Mr. Cameron for this property. <br />Commissioner Wicker moved that the Sandbills Community <br />Action Program be requested to investigate the possibility of obtaining a grant to <br />purchase the property on which is located the old {idoRr Iron Works as a historical <br />site and park. <br />Commissioner White seconded the motion and it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />Commissioner McLeod presented a map of Lee County, which he <br />had received from Mrs. Eula Cross McIver. <br />Commissioner Wicker moved that the map be placed and displayed <br />in the County Historical Museum maintained at the Railroad House in Sanford. . <br />The motion was seconded and duly adopted. <br />Mr. Nathan Crissman appeared before the Board and presented <br />a statement of his settlement of the 1967 Tax Levy. After discussion and examination, <br />upon motion of Commissioner White, seconded by Commissioner Yow, it was unani- <br />mously RESOLVED to accept the settlement as presented by Mr. Crissman.
