BOOK 7 PACE304 <br />Upon motion made, seconded and duly carried, it was resolved to take no <br />action on the appointment of a tax attorney at this time. <br />The Board requested Mr.. E. M. Underwood to prepare a comparison of <br />the cost of a blanket bond for all officials and the present system of individual bonds <br />for each office holder. <br />The bond of J. Chandler Eakes as Register of Deeds in the amount of <br />$10, 000.00 with Fidelity & Casuality Company of New York was approved upon motion <br />made, seconded and unanimously adopted. Messrs. Joyce, White, F. Wicker, G. <br />Wicker and Dotterer all voted for the motion. No one voted against it. <br />The Clerk was instructed to advise the Resque Squad that they would have to <br />secure three estimates for repair work on the County's ambulance. <br />The written report of D. F. Holder, Sheriff of Lee County, was presented <br />to the Board. <br />Mr. James L. Clark, Tax Tax Supervisor appeared before the Board and <br />presented his recommendation for values to use for listing property for 1969. Upon <br />motion of Commissioner Gordon Wicker, seconded by Commissioner Joyce, it was <br />unanimously adopted upon a vote, it was resolved that the values to be used in listing <br />property for taxation are as follows: <br />- 2 - <br />
