PAGE 30 <br />MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 1968 <br />The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee convened in the staff room of the Lee County Hospital at 7:00oo=clock P. M. <br />Those present were Chairman John E. Dotterer, Commissioners Aubrey E. White, <br />Franklin D.. Wicker, and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioner William B. Joyce was <br />absent. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was transacted: <br />Messrs. Brock, Brown, Cotten, and Ray of the Board of Commissioners for <br />Harnett County met with the Board of Commissioners as a meeting of the Lee-Harnett <br />Mental Health Authority. Mr. Gerald Arnold, Attorney for Harnett County, also <br />was in attendance. <br />Dr. Nicholas Stratus of the State Mental Health Department, Dr. A. R. <br />Mayberry of the Lee-Harnett Mental Health Department, and Mr. W. B.. Pittman of <br />the Lee County Mental Health Advisory Board appeared-before the Mental Health <br />Authority. There was an extended discussion about the objectives of the mental <br />health program and the proper method of supervising its operations. Upon motion <br />of Commissioner Frank Wicker of Lee, seconded by Commissioner Cotten of Harnett, <br />and duly adopted by a unanimous vote, it was resolved by the Lee-Harnett Mental <br />Health Authority as follows: <br />
