ea6 7 erc~l <br />Mr. Thomas T. Hayes of Hayes, Howell & Associates, Architects, appeared <br />before the Board and reviewed the plans for the new Courtroom. The Board and Mr. <br />Hayes walked over the area to be renovated and reviewed the plans at length. Upon <br />motion of Commissioner Gordon Wicker, seconded by Commissioner Joyce, it was <br />resolved by a unanimous vote to direct and authorize the architects to work up <br />alternate means of construction and finishings where possible in connection with the <br />Courtroom specifications. The architects were requested to submit such alternates <br />to the Board as early as possible and to proceed to take bids on the project for <br />consideration at its regular meeting in February, 1969. <br />The bids for repair of the 1961 Pontiac ambulance were considered next. <br />The bids were as follows: <br />Bidder Rebuild New Block <br />Keith Motors $739.84 $685.72 <br />Sanford Motor Sales 664.03 720.85 <br />W. Harrington Garage 649.39 649.36 <br />Upon motion made, seconded, and duly adopted it was resolved to accept <br />the low bid of W. Harrington Garage of Broadway at $649.36 to install a new block <br />assembly and make other repairs as set out in the bid. <br />There being no other business to come before the session, it was adjourned <br />sine die. <br />John E.
