5 • J 7 ® ® -1 - <br />BOOK 7 pact 376 <br />Commissioner Gordon Wicker reported on the activities to <br />secure a new Electrical Inspector for the County. The Board adopted a <br />resolution authorizing Commissioners Gordon A. Wicker and Franklin D. <br />Wicker, to be authorized to act on behalf of the Board in selecting a new <br />Electrical Inspector. <br />Representatives of several automobile agencies appeared <br />before the Board concerning a vehicle for the Rescue Squad's use as an <br />ambulance. <br />The Clerk was instructed to contact the State office of <br />Purchase and Contract, to see if the County could purchase under the State's <br />contract. <br />Mr. Nathan Crissman, County Tax Collector, appeared before <br />the Board and reported on his collections for the preceding months. Mr. <br />Crissman also presented his settlement of the 1968 tax levy. Wicker, seconded by Commissioner Perry White, it was unanimously <br />RESOLVED to accept the settlement as presented by Mr. Crissman. <br />There was a discussion about the additional funds necessary for <br />the forestry services budget. Upon motion of Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker, <br />seconded by Commissioner A. E. White, the sum of $1, 000. 00 was appropriated <br />from the unappropriated surplus in the General Fund to the Forest Service Fund. <br />A roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYE: A. E.
