a 0 - <br />BOOK 7 PACE 391 <br />Carolina Local Governmental Employees' Retirement System: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR LEE COUNTY, in regular <br />session, <br />1. That the Board of Commissioners for Lee County <br />hereby elects to secure death benefits for its employees in the North <br />Carolina Local Governmental Employees' Retirement System. <br />2. That the Board of Commissioners for Lee County <br />hereby agrees to comply with all provisions of the North Carolina <br />Local Governmental Employees' Retirement System as defined in <br />Article 3, Chapter 128 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, as <br />amended, and to make such increased employer's contributions as <br />the Local Governmental Employees' Retirement System may determine <br />to be necessary in order to provide employee death benefits. <br />3. That the Chairman is hereby ordered and directed <br />to execute an agreement with the Director of the North Carolina Local <br />Governmental Employees' Retirement System to implement the employee <br />death benefits of G. S. 128-27(1). <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, and <br />seconded by Commissioner Perry White, the above resolution was introduced for <br />passage. The following number voted in the Affirmative: White, Franklin D. <br />Wicker, Gordon A. Wicker and Dotterer. The following number voted in the <br />negative: none <br />There being no further business to come before the <br />meeting, it was adjourned, sine die. <br />John E. Dotterer, M.
