® BOOK 7 PACE 398 <br />the property and requested that the County participate in the proposed 22, 000 <br />feet water line to the extent of one-third of its costs or approximately $44 to <br />$50, 000 dollars. <br />Mr. Scott Swindell, appeared before the Board with a representative of <br />the Style Mart Homes and requested the County to install a line to the industrial <br />development. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the sum of $6, 000. 00 be <br />appropriated from the unappropriated surplus in the General Fund derived from <br />non-tax revenue for the purpose of installing water line to the Castleberry <br />Warehouse on the Lemon Springs highway to be occupied by Syle Mart Homes, <br />provided the City of Sanford will enter into an agreement with the County in <br />keeping with the County's water line policy and the industry, Style Mart Homes, <br />give the bond required by such policy. <br />Commissioner Perry White seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, <br />it was unanimously adopted as follows: <br />AYE: A. E. White, Perry White, Franklin D. Wicker, Gordon A. <br />Wicker and Dr. John E. Dotterer <br />NO: None <br />Mr. James Clark, County Tax Supervisor, appeared before the Board and <br />submitted for its consideration, a table of values to be used by the list takers <br />in listing the property for taxation during the month of January, 1970. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker, seconded by Comm- <br />issioner A. E. White, it was RESOLVED that the table of values as presented <br />by the County Tax Supervisor, be-adopted for use and a copy of said Schedule <br />be annexed to the Minutes of this meeting. <br />The County Tax Supervisor submitted a form letter to be used in inquiring <br />about differences in investment values, to the County for approval. Upon motion <br />of Commissioner; A. E. White, seconded by Franklin D. Wicker, it was <br />unanimously RESOLVED to approve the form of said letter and to authorize <br />its sending by the County Tax Supervisor. <br />Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker presented for consideration, a Petition <br />requesting improvement of Secondary Road No. 1199. Commissioner A. E. <br />White moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the <br />County of Lee has investigated the condition of the above described <br />road which is now a pErt of the system of roads maintained by the <br />State Highway Commission, and which is indicated in red on the <br />attached map; and <br />WHEREAS, after careful consideration of the services <br />rendered by said road and the traffic demands of said county, it <br />is deemed necessary that said road be improved in order to <br />better serve the interests of the people of this county. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, and the Board of <br />County Commissioners hereby approved and request that the <br />State Highway Commission make the following improvements in <br />the above described road: Paved. <br />
