Mr. Scott Swindell, appeared before the Board with a representative of the Style Mart Homes and requested the County to install a line to the industrial development. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the sum of $6, 000. 00 be appropriated from the unappropriated surplus in the General Fund derived from non-tax revenue for the purpose of installing water line to the Castleberry Warehouse on the Lemon Springs highway to be occupied by Syle Mart Homes, provided the City of Sanford will enter into an agreement with the County in keeping with the County's water line policy and the industry, Style Mart Homes, give the bond required by such policy. Commissioner Perry White seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, it was unanimously adopted as follows: AYE: A. E. White, Perry White, Franklin D. Wicker, Gordon A. Wicker and Dr. John E. Dotterer NO: None Mr. James Clark, County Tax Supervisor, appeared before the Board and submitted for its consideration, a table of values to be used by the list takers in listing the property for taxation during the month of January, 1970. Upon motion of Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker, seconded by Comm- issioner A. E. White, it was RESOLVED that the table of values as presented by the County Tax Supervisor, be-adopted for use and a copy of said Schedule be annexed to the Minutes of this meeting. The County Tax Supervisor submitted a form letter to be used in inquiring about differences in investment values, to the County for approval. Upon motion of Commissioner; A. E. White, seconded by Franklin D. Wicker, it was unanimously RESOLVED to approve the form of said letter and to authorize its sending by the County Tax Supervisor. Commissioner Franklin D. Wicker presented for consideration, a Petition requesting improvement of Secondary Road No. 1199. Commissioner A. E. White moved the adoption of the following resolution: WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Lee has investigated the condition of the above described road which is now a pErt of the system of roads maintained by the State Highway Commission, and which is indicated in red on the attached map; and WHEREAS, after careful consideration of the services rendered by said road and the traffic demands of said county, it is deemed necessary that said road be improved in order to better serve the interests of the people of this county. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, and the Board of County Commissioners hereby approved and request that the State Highway Commission make the following improvements in the above described road: Paved.
