BOOK PAGE 40 <br />Mr. Jim Perry, representative of the Department of Local Affairs <br />of the State of North Carolina, appeared before the Board and discussed with the <br />Board sources of revenue to finance water lines. Based upon the recommendations <br />of Mr. Perry, the Board decided to invite Mr. Proctor and Mr. Fleetwood of the <br />Farmers Home Administration and representatives of P. H. Brown & Sons <br />Engineers to meet with the Board at its next meeting. <br />Members of the Sanford City Board of Education came to the meeting <br />room to take the Board on a tour of the City Administrative Unit School Facilities. <br />The monthly bills as tabulated by the County Accountant were presented <br />to the Board and reviewed. Upon motion of Commissioner A. E. White, seconded <br />by Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, and unanimously adopted, it was resolved <br />to pay the bills as presented. <br />The Board authorized the superintendent of building and grounds to <br />renovate and install adequate facilities for public toilet on the first floor of the <br />County Office Building adjacent to the Commissioner's meeting room. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously adopted it was resolved <br />to adjourn the meeting until 10:00 o'clock A. M. on Monday, February 16, 1970 <br />at the Commissioner's Room at the County Office Building at the corner of Steele <br />Street and Wicker Street in the City of Sanford.
