Wicker, Commissioner, moved that the sum of <br />$300. 00 be appropriated from the unappropriated surplus in the General Fund <br />to the General Relief Fund in the Social Services appropriation to enable the <br />Department of Social Services to arrange a program for the Senior Citizens <br />of Lee County.. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and <br />upon a roll call vote, the "Ayes" and "Nays" were as follows: <br />AYES: Perry White, Franklin D. Wicker, Gordon A. Wicker <br />and John E. Dotterer <br />NAY: None <br />The Board instructed the County Superintendent of Buildings <br />and Grounds to obtain informal bids to accomplish the following work on the <br />fourth floor of the County Office Building: <br />Existing Cooled Area <br />Add 55KW strip heat to existing air conditioning system <br />on fourth floor with heating-cooling control with locked <br />cover and continuous fan switch and fresh air intake with <br />two additional supply registers; <br />Existing Uncooled Area <br />Install 5 - 10, 200 BTU heating -cooling window units with <br />heating-cooling controls and continuous fan switch. Also, <br />supply fresh air intakes. <br />The Chairman reminded the Board that they were to be guests <br />of the Lee County Extension Home Makers Association,- in the Home Economics <br />Department at the Courthouse Annex. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and duly adopted, it was RESOLVED <br />to adjourn the meeting until 10 o'clock a. m. , on Monday, March 16th, 1970, <br />in the Commissioners' Room in the County Office Building.
