' ' -6 9OOK 7 PAGE 422 <br />The Board requested that the County Accountant prepare data <br />on funds received by the electrical inspector for its consideration at its next <br />meeting. <br />Upon motion made, duly seconded and unanimously adopted, <br />it was resolved to raise the salary of the electrical inspector by $1, 800. 00 <br />annually, said raise to be effective from January 1 st, 1970. Upon a roll call <br />vote, the "ayes" and "nayes" were as follows: <br />Aye: White, F. Wicker, G. Wicker, and Dotterer <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairmanreported to the Board that a letter had been received <br />from the Department of Local Affairs concerning a full time planner for Lee County. <br />The Board authorized the Chairman to reply and advise the Department that Lee <br />County did not contemplate adding a full time planner at this time. <br />The Chairman reported that they had received an invitation from <br />the Legislative Study Committee to appear and give its views on matters per- <br />taining to local affairs. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and duly adopted, it was RESOLVED <br />to adjourn the meeting until 10 o'clock a. m, on Monday,. April 20, 1970, in the <br />Commissioner's Room in the County Office Building. <br />The meeting adjourned in accordance with said resolution. <br />John E.
