Cooper moved that the charges of the <br />Electrical Inspector services be determined as follows: <br />1 st trip . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . mileage and inspection fees <br />2nd trip . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . mileage only <br />3rd and any subsequent trip . . . . . . . mileage plus inspection fees <br />Mileage was to be determined as follows: <br />Trips up to 10 miles . . . . . . . . . . . minimum charge of $1, 00 <br />Trips in excess of 10 miles . . . . . . .10~ per mile <br />Commissioner Perry White seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />Upon motion of~Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, seconded by Commiss- <br />ioner William H. Cooper, it was RESOLVED to set the salary of Walter Scoggins <br />as Electrical Inspector at $2, 400. 00, to be effective from July 1st, 1970. <br />The Board adopted a resolution instructing the Clerk to direct a letter <br />to all department heads advising them to stay within their allotted budget during the <br />coming fiscal year. . <br />Upon motion of Commissioner William H. Cooper, duly seconded by <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, and unanimously adopted, upon a vote, it was <br />RESOLVED to accept the 3 point recommendation of the Chamber of Commerce <br />Committee concerning schools within the County. <br />The meeting adjourned upon motion until 10 o'clock a. m., on August <br />10, 1970, in the Commissioners Room in the County office building. <br />,.l 19 2 <br />Franklin D.
