Hunter, <br />Mrs. Bobby (Mary) Hurley <br />David Hobson <br />Dr. Wood, from the County Health Department, appeared before the <br />Board and stated that an X-Ray tube had blown and that no provision had been <br />made in the budget for the replacement of this item which cost approximately <br />$1, 100. 00. Upon motion of Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, duly seconded <br />and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED to approve the interfund transfer <br />of $1, 100. 00 from the item for buildings and grounds maintenance to the item <br />for equipment for the purchase of the X-Ray tube. <br />Vice-Chairman Franklin D. Wicker, Commissioner Gordon A. <br />Wicker and Auditor,. E. M. Underwood, and County Attorney, K. R. Hoyle, <br />arranged to go to the Local Government Commission office on Wednesday, <br />August 12, 1970, at 10 o'clock a. m. , to discuss the outstanding bond anticipation . <br />note and the utility extension bond project. <br />There was a discussion about the advisor for the Senior Citizens <br />Program but since the budgetary appropriation provides for only one and <br />Mrs. Chloe Sloan holdsthat appointment, no further action was taken. <br />There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was <br />adjourned sine die. <br />Franklin D.
