E <br />LEE COUNTY <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION <br />OF RECOGNITION <br />• <br />11 <br />WHEREAS, Glenda Douglas began employment with the Lee County Department of <br />Social Services as a temporary Clerk Typist III from November 6, 1992 through January <br />13, 1995; and <br />WHEREAS, Glenda Douglas became a full time employee of the Department of Social <br />Services on June 21, 1995 as a Processing Assistant III; and <br />WHEREAS, Glenda Douglas was promoted to Accounting Tech I on April 28, 1997; and <br />WHEREAS, Glenda Douglas was promoted to Income Maintenance Caseworker status <br />on January 16, 2004, where she remained until her retirement; and <br />WHEREAS, Glenda Douglas has demonstrated a deep commitment to her job and to <br />the citizens of Lee County; and <br />WHEREAS, Glenda Douglas retired March 1, 2010, with 14 years and 8 months of total <br />service; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lee County Board of Commissioners to recognize the <br />achievements of Glenda Douglas and to express its appreciation to her for her dedicated <br />service and contribution to Lee County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee County <br />that it congratulates Glenda Douglas for a career of public service, which has been <br />characterized by a genuine interest in and concern for Lee County and it wishes Glenda <br />Douglas continued success in all her future endeavors. <br />Adopted and presented this 1" day of March 2010. <br />John A. rump n, County Manager <br />Richard B.
