The Contractor shall commence, carry on, and <br />complete the approved Project with all practicable dispatch, in a sound, economical, and <br />efficient manner. <br />Section 5: Contractor's Responsibilities: The Contractor agrees to comply <br />with the terms of the agreement and maintain sufficient, legal, financial, technical and <br />managerial capability to: <br />a) Plan and manage on-the-job training for the apprentice/intern. <br />(b) Provide guidance and direction to the Apprentice/Intern, including the <br />development and management of an agreement between the Contractor and <br />the apprentice/intern detailing at a minimum the policies and procedures, <br />work tasks, work hours, pay record/period, location of work, special project, <br />supervisor, reporting requirements necessary to carryout the work and goals <br />of the Apprenticeship/Internship; <br />(c) Prepare and submit reports indicating status of Apprentice/Intern work <br />and activities to NCDOT at a minimum monthly; <br />IL (d) Provide payment on a schedule to the Apprentice/Intern in accordance <br />with the project budget and at specified times determined by the Contractor; <br />e) Submit Request for Reimbursement Quarterly to the Department with <br />supporting documentation (timesheet and work task) in accordance with <br />NCDOT policies and procedures; <br />f) Comply with the terms of this agreement, the Approved Project Budget, <br />the Project schedules, and applicable Federal and State laws, regulations, <br />and directives. <br />Section 6: Compliance with State Laws. Reaulations and Directives. The <br />Contractor agrees to comply with the following State administrative requirements: <br />(1) Title 19A North Carolina Administrative Code (N.C.A.C.) <br />Subchapter 5B at (htto://reports.oah.state.nc.us/ncac.asp). <br />Application of State, and Local Laws, Regulations, and Directives. <br />To achieve compliance with changing federal and state requirements, the <br />Contractor makes note that federal, state and local requirements may change <br />and the changed requirements will apply to this Agreement as required. <br />DI Contractor's Primary Responsibility to Comply with State <br />Revised 05/20/2015 3 <br />
