024 BID PROPOSAL FOR LUMP SUM CONTRACTS Sealed proposals for the Renovations to the Bob E. Hales Recreation Center will be received at the Lee County Finance Office, 408 Summitt Drive, Sanford, North Carolina until Thursday, January 14, at 2:00pm. Proposals are to be earmarked as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud. Proposal of H.M. Me bidder, in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders, will provide: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, INCLUDING ALL CIVIL, STRUCTURAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL WORK, INCLUDING ALL ACCOMPANYING INCIDENTAL DEMOLITION WORK FOR THE RENOVATIONS TO THE BOB E. HALES RECREATION CENTER. Having examined the plans and specifications with related documents and the site of the proposed work, and being familiar with all of the conditions surrounding the construction of the proposed project including the availability of materials and labor, hereby proposes to furnish all labor, materials, and supplies and to construct the project in accordance with the Contract Documents within the time set forth therein, and at the prices stated below. These prices are to cover all expenses incurred in performing the work required under the Contract Documents, of which this proposal is a part. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract within 7 calendar days after receipt of the "Notice to Proceed" from the Owner and to fully complete the project in 120 calendar days. Failure of the selected bidder to fully complete the project within the above stated time period shall result in Bidder paying the Owner liquidated damages in the amount of Two Hundred and F', dol!NM and 00/100 3250.00) The term 'fully complete' shall mean that all materials required by the contract documents are incorporated into the project, that all labor has been performed, that the work is ready for inspection by the Architect, and that the Certificate of Occupancy has been delivered to the Owner.
