No action was <br />taken. <br />ounty Ma" r John Crumpton gave an update on the Colon Road -Osgood Community <br />wat ting. As of ruary 12, 2016, 78 letters have been received, 44 samples taken (22 wells). <br />Ni e s es are sch uled to be taken in the coming days; some pending verification have not been <br />received te. T � biggest update is that DHHS will no longer provide a risk recommendation <br />going forwa n ning the private well baseline sampling if a constituent exceeds the allowable <br />limit. Chair D ple discussed a meeting she and Interim Health Director Heath Cain attended on <br />Thursday, Feb ary 11th with Senator Ron Rabin, Representative Robert Reives, II, Representative <br />Brad Salmon, Tom Reeder (Deputy Health Director), and Dr. Randall Williams (State Health Director) <br />in reference to the water testing issue. It was stated the State will be sending letters to the seventeen <br />(17) residents in the Colon Road area rescinding they recommendation from previous letters on the <br />drinking water issue. The State now thinks the water is safe to drink and cook with. Dr. Williams and <br />Mr. Reeder will be at the Commissioners March 7th meeting to explain their position on the baseline <br />water testing issue. <br />r6i <br />
