f BK:00028 PG -.0079 LEE-i.COUN111TY Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow REGULAR MEETING OF THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS 106 HILLCREST DRIVE SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 FEBRUARY 1, 2016 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 5 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room, First Floor, Lee County Government Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present when the meeting was called to order were Amy M. Dalrymple, Dr. Ricky D. Frazier, Dr. Andre Knecht, Larry "Doc" Oldham, Robert T. Reives, and Timothy S. Sloan. Commissioner Kirk D. Smith arrived later during the meeting. Chair Dalrymple called the meeting to order. Commissioner Tim Sloan delivered the invocation. The pledge of allegiance was recited. The Board considered additions/changes to the Agenda. With no changes made, Commissioner Sloan moved to approve the Agenda as presented. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, and Sloan Nay: None Absent: Smith The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. Commissioner Frazier moved to approve the Consent Agenda which consisted of the following items: • Minutes from the January 19, 2016 regular meeting, • Resolution to approve the addition of Doe Run Drive (extension) and Buckroe Drive to the NC DOT System (copy attached), • Acceptance of $500 donation for Animal Services Shelter, • Acceptance of $9,782 in TANF Funds to the Coalition for Families in Lee County, • Acceptance of additional State revenue for Healthy Communities (Healthy Promotion) in the amount of $4,160, • Acceptance of additional State funds for Infant Mortality Reduction in the amount of $60,000, and • Changes to the Lee County Pay Plan to add Administrative I classification. Upon a vote, the results were as follows:
