Includes the receiving of information and <br />Instructions from supervisor and the relaying of instructions and directlon to volunteers and <br />subordlnat m <br />Language Ability: Requires the ability to read a variety of policy and procedure manuals, <br />computer manuals, maps, technical reports, etc. Requires the ability to prepare strategic plf3ns, <br />grant applications, financial documents, records, reports, correspondence, etc, with proper <br />formal, pundtmdon, spelling and grammar, using all parts of speech. Must be able to speak with <br />poise, voice control and confidence and to articulate information to others. <br />ntelli ce: Requires the ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect <br />data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; and to deal with several abstract and concrete <br />variables. Requires the ability to use Influence systems in employee and volunteer supervision; <br />to make: independent judgments in the absence of supervisor, and to acquire knowledge of topics <br />related to primary occupation. Must have the ability to comprehend and Interpret recaived <br />Infbmratkm and the ability to comprehend and Implement basic office machinery functions. <br />Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to record and deliver Information, to explain procedures, to <br />follow and give oral and written instructions, to teach and educate subordinates, volunteers and <br />the general public. Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with persons of varying <br />educational and cultural backgrounds, and in using radio terminology. <br />Numerical Aptitude: Requires the ability to add and subtract totals, to multiply and divide, to <br />determine percentages and decimals, to determine time. Must be able to use practical <br />applications of fractions, percentages, ratio, proportion, and statistics. <br />j:anWftabal Autliude: Requires the ability to Inspect Items for proper length, width and shape, <br />and visually read various Information. <br />Motor Coerdlnaflo : Requires the ability to coordinate hands and eyes rapidly and accurately in <br />using automated office equipment and communications machinery; and to operate motor <br />vehicles. <br />Manual Dexterity: Requires the ability to handle a variety of Items including computer <br />keyboards, office equipment, control knobs, switches, tools, safety gear, gas detection <br />equipment, etc. Must have moderate levels of eyelhand/foot coordination, - <br />Calor Discrimination and Visual Acuity: Requires the abillty to differentiate colors and shades of <br />Revised 3/30/2009 <br />
