C. <br />XX Information <br />Meeting Date: December 7, 2015 XX Action Item <br />Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT: Coal Ash Water Testing Visualization and Analytics <br />DEPARTMENT: Administration <br />CONTACT PERSON: John Crumpton/Don Kovasckitz <br />Don Helms — Integrated Training Solutions <br />REQUEST: Review presentation by Don Helms — Integrated Training <br />Solutions & Empire Media Group. Consider future purchase of analytic software system. <br />SUMMARY: Mr. Helms, who is the owner of property near the Colon <br />Road Coal Ash site, approached staff with a proposal to analyze date from the water <br />testing and other public information sources. Mr. Helms' software solution will compare <br />And review data to give relevance to the information the county receives on the site. <br />After reviewing the presentation, staff felt the Commissioners needed to hear from Mr. <br />Helms. <br />BUDGET IMPACT: Mr. Helms is working on a proposal for the County <br />ATTACHMENT(S): Information Paper on Presentation <br />PUBLIC HEARING: N/A <br />PRIOR BOARD ACTION: Commissioners authorized testing of private wells in the <br />Colon/Osgood community <br />RECOMMENDATION: Review presentation from Mr. Helms and authorize staff to <br />negotiate fee for service and bring proposal back to the Commissioners at an upcoming <br />meeting. <br />
