nuK 23 i 3311 <br />LEE COUNTY <br />tea' a2 r T ` ? v« r > n= <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL BOARD RETREAT <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR THE <br />COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />MARCH 15, 2010 <br />The special Board Retreat with the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, <br />State of North Carolina, convened at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Central <br />Carolina Community College Emergency Training Center, 3000 Airport Road, Sanford, North <br />Carolina. Commissioners present were Amy M. Dalrymple, Richard B. Hayes, James C. Kelly, <br />Larry "Doc" Oldham, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, and Linda A. Shook. Staff <br />members present included County Manager John Crumpton, County Attorney K. R. Hoyle, <br />Finance Director Lisa Minter, and Clerk to the Board Gaynell Lee. <br />Chairman Hayes called the meeting to order and County Attorney K. R. Hoyle delivered <br />the invocation. <br />The meeting was turned over to Facilitator Mike Seibert from North Carolina State <br />University Industrial Extension Department, Bob Weston and Ron Ilinitch. <br />Chairman Hayes shared his "goal" for economic development in Lee County. <br />The Board was led in discussion on ways to improve Lee County. Commissioners rated <br />their thoughts on the county's strengths, weaknesses, and ideas on how to improve. No action <br />was taken during the Retreat. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Hayes adjourned the <br />Retreat at 3 p.m. <br />Richard B.
