BK:00027 PG -0836 <br />to distribute to the community to raise awareness of Project Lazarus. <br />After discussion, Commissioner Sloan moved to approve acceptance of Project Lazarus funding as <br />presented and a Chronic Pain Initiative Community Coalition Agreement Between North Carolina <br />Community Care Networks, Inc. and Lee County Health Department, a copy of which is attached to <br />these Minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sloan, and Smith <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the FY 2015-16 Rural Operating Assistance Grant. Senior Services <br />Director Debbie Davidson stated the following funding levels have been allocated to Lee County <br />through the NC DOT Rural Operating Assistance Grant: <br />Elderly and Disabled Transportation Assistance - $60,433.00 (no match required). <br />Funds will assist clients of Lee County Senior Services and Lee County Industries, as well as dialysis <br />patients and other elderly or disabled Lee County residents with needed transportation services. <br />Employment Funds - $17,157.00 (no match required). Funds will assist Department of <br />Social Services Work First clients, Workforce Development programs or other citizens in need of <br />employment transportation. <br />Rural General Public - $78,946.00 (minimum match — 10% fare charged to passengers). <br />These funds will be used to transport the general public for various transit needs on a space available <br />and location basis. <br />Total Grant is in the amount of $156,536.00. <br />After discussion, Commissioner Frazier moved to approve the FY 2015-16 Rural Operating Assistance <br />Grant as presented, a copy of which is attached to these Minutes and by this reference made a part <br />hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, Sloan, and Smith <br />Nay: None <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered the purchase of Tyler Content Manager for MUNIS Software. IT Director <br />Kyle Edwards asked the Board to approve the purchase as an additional module for the County's <br />financial management MUNIS application. Mr. Edwards further stated it allows for streamlining, audit <br />trail, annotation, indexing, electronic filing, retrieval of documents, archival, and much more associated <br />to all financial transactions within the application. The purchase and implementation of this module will <br />deliver a more capable, responsible and centralized financial software application for the County. The <br />purchase was approved in the current FY 2015-16 budget. After discussion, Commissioner Frazier <br />moved to approve the purchase of Tyler Content Manager as described above.
