A <br />a <br />BOOK 7 PAGE 510 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR LEE COUNTY: <br />Section One. As a token of respect and esteem, <br />the Board of Commissioners expresses its profound sorrow <br />at the passing of J. B. Cameron and its gratitude for the <br />services which he rendered to his County and his fellow <br />citizens. <br />Section Two. This Resolution shall be incorpor- <br />ated in the permanent minutes of this Board as a tribute and <br />continuing expression of respect to the memory of J. B. <br />Cameron. <br />Section Three. A copy of this Resolution shall be <br />sent to the family of J. B. Cameron. <br />Cbmmissioner Perry White seconded the motion and upon a vote it <br />was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Hugh Brewer, Superintendent of Maintenance and Grounds, <br />appeared before the Board and stated that he had made corrections of all the <br />buildings under his supervision in accordance with the recommendations of <br />the Grand Jury Report. <br />Commissioner William H. Cooper moved tha t the Committee of <br />100 and other agencies considering school mergers be advised that the Board <br />of Commissioners recommend that the School Board terms should be for four <br />years instead of for six years. The motion was duly seconded and duly adopted. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it was <br />adjourned. <br />Franklin D.
