- ® BOOK 7 m066 <br />Upon motion of Commissioner W. H. Cooper, seconded <br />by Commissioner Perry White, payment for said overtime was authorized <br />and approved. <br />Mr. James L. Clark, Tax Supervisor, reported that over- <br />time help was used in getting out the tax bills and that the sum of $250. 00 was <br />needed to compensate for said work. Upon motion of. Commissioner W. H. <br />Cooper, seconded by Commissioner J. Eugene Rogers, which motion was <br />unanimously addopted on a roll call vote, it was resolved to appropriate the <br />sum of $250. 00 from the unappropriated surplus in the General Fund to the <br />Tax Supervisor's appropriation for the purpose of paying for said overtime <br />help. <br />Mrs. Beatrice Fields reported on the status of the Ambulance <br />Grant. <br />There was a discussion about purchasing automobiles from <br />the State Surplus Property Officer for use by the Sheriff's Department. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the sum of <br />$395. 00 be appropriated from the Emergency, and Contingency Fund to the <br />Mental Health Fund for the purpose of obtaining and erecting signs at the <br />site of the Mental Health Facility. <br />Commissioner W. H. Cooper seconded the motion and upon <br />a vote it was unanimously adopted on a roll call vote as follows: <br />AYE: Cooper, Rogers, White, G. Wicker and F. Wicker <br />NAY: None <br />There was a discussion about the appraisal of) the Hospital <br />Property but no action was taken . <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously adopted, <br />the meeting was adjourned snedie. <br />,0 V./, <br />Franklin D.
