<br />cating speed, direction, caution, stopping or parking,
<br />and all others posted for proper control and to safe-
<br />guard life and property.
<br />(c) Speed of vehicles. No person shall drive a
<br />vehicle within a county park at a speed exceeding 25
<br />miles per hour; at the more congested centers, near
<br />park buildings, and picnic and play areas, speed
<br />shall not exceed 15 miles per hour. Maximum speeds
<br />will be posted where necessary.
<br />(d) Restriction to roads. No person shall drive any
<br />motorized or animal-drawn vehicle on any area ex-
<br />cept park roads or parking areas, or such other areas
<br />as are designated as temporary parking areas by the
<br />department.
<br />(e) Parking. Parking shall be regulated as fol-
<br />lows:
<br />(1) All motor cars shall be parked only in estab-
<br />lished and indicated parking areas or in such
<br />other areas and such times as the depart-
<br />ment may designate, except as specified
<br />otherwise in this subsection (e).
<br />(2) Full parking on roads or driveways is forbid-
<br />den at all times except in an emergency. No
<br />stopping or parking is permitted even briefly
<br />on the lefthand side of any road or driveway.
<br />(3) Parking at any established parking con-
<br />course shall be done in accordance with the
<br />markings thereon.
<br />(4) No person shall park or station any vehicle in
<br />any zone designated and marked "no park-
<br />ing" or otherwise marked for restricted use
<br />except briefly for the expeditious loading or
<br />unloading of passengers or freight and in no
<br />case in excess of five minutes for passen-
<br />gers and ten minutes for freight.
<br />(5) No person shall make nonemergency re-
<br />pairs, perform routine maintenance or wash
<br />any vehicle in any county park or recreation
<br />area.
<br />(6) Any vehicle in violation of these parking
<br />regulations shall be subject to be towed from
<br />the area with all towing and storage charges
<br />to be the responsibility of the owner of such
<br />vehicle.
<br />(f) Soliciting rides or fares. No pedestrian shall
<br />solicit rides from any driver, and no driver of any
<br />vehicle will solicit riders for money or fares.
<br />(g) Trucks, carts, wagons or other such vehicles.
<br />No private or public trucks, carts, wagons or other
<br />vehicles carrying building materials, merchandise or
<br />other articles of freight or merchandise for sale, or
<br />which are commonly used for the carrying thereof,
<br />shall enter any park area or make use of park roads
<br />except on special authorization of the park manager
<br />or director in connection with park work and activi-
<br />ties. Exception is made for empty trucks not for hire
<br />and used solely at the time for transporting persons
<br />to a park for recreational purposes.
<br />(h) Bicycles. Bicycles may be ridden on any des-
<br />ignated roads or trails, except where expressly
<br />prohibitred for safety of park patrons. When riding on
<br />vehicular roads they must observe all safety rules
<br />and regulations as constituted by state law. Bicyclists
<br />shall, when riding or parking their bikes, respect the
<br />safety and security of other park users.
<br />(i) Park entrance. No person shall enter any county
<br />park via land or water except through the designated
<br />park entrance or area provided.

<br />Sec. 18-34. Park property.
<br />(a) Buildings and otherproperty. No person shall
<br />willfully mark, deface or injure in anyway, or displace,
<br />remove or tamper with any park buildings, bridges,
<br />tables, benches, fireplaces, railings, paving or paving
<br />material, waterlines orother public utilities or parts or
<br />appurtenances thereof, park signs, notices or plac-
<br />ards (whether temporary or permanent), monu-
<br />ments, stakes, posts or other boundary markers, or
<br />other structures or equipment, facilities or park prop-
<br />erty or appurtenances whatsoever, either real or
<br />personal.
<br />(b) Trees, shrubbery and lawns. Trees, shrub-
<br />bery, lawns, etc. are property assets of the park, and
<br />no person shall cut, carve or injure the bark, or break
<br />off limbs or branches or mutilate in any way, or pick
<br />the flowers or seeds of any tree or plant. Nor shall
<br />any person litter, dig in or otherwise disturb grass
<br />areas, or any other way injure or impair the natural
<br />beauty or usefulness of any area, nor shall he pile
