BK:00027 PG -.0438 <br />Sherman Architecture <br />Falcon Engineering <br />Responses were reviewed, using a matrix system to evaluate the proposals, and four firms were invited <br />to make a presentation to a select committee. Mr. Crumpton stated that after the presentations, the <br />committee recommended HH Architecture as the preferred architect for the project. After discussion, <br />Commissioner Reives moved to approve an architectural services contract with HH Architecture for the <br />San Lee Nature Center Building, not to exceed $158,200. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, and Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Smith <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a Resolution and Amendment to the Buggy Factory that had been added <br />at the beginning of the meeting. County Attorney Kerry Schmid outlined the changes and answered <br />questions from the Board. Commissioner Reives moved to approve a Resolution and Amendment for <br />the Sanford Buggy Factory, copies of which are attached to these Minutes and by this reference made <br />a part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, and Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Smith <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />The Board considered a Resolution reappointing Mary C. Yow as Lee County Tax <br />Administrator. Human Resource Director Joyce McGehee stated Tax Administrator Mary Yow was <br />appointed on November 19, 2012 by the Board with the appointment ending June 30, 2015. The Board <br />was asked to approve a Resolution reappointing Ms. Yow for a 4 -year term. After discussion, <br />Commissioner Oldham moved to approve a Resolution of Reappointment of Mary C. Yow as Lee <br />County Tax Administrator, a copy of which is attached to these Minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Frazier, Knecht, Oldham, Reives, and Sloan <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Smith <br />The Chair ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />At this time Clerk to the Board Gaynell Lee administered the Oath to Ms. Yow and Board <br />members congratulated her on her job performance. <br />The Board considered the write-off of 10 -year delinquent property taxes. Tax Administrator Mary <br />Yow asked the Board to approve the write-off of delinquent property taxes in the amount of $95,136.68 <br />as allowed by Statute that preludes the Tax Collector from using enforced collection remedies for taxes <br />greater than 10 years past due. All 2004 taxes became due on September 1, 2004, and unenforceable <br />as of September 1, 2014, 10 years after the original due date. After discussion, Commissioner Frazier <br />moved to approve the 10 -year write-off of delinquent property taxes as presented. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />
