AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />OF LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received from Conveyor <br />Technologies of Sanford, Inc.,(Case #2014-0501) to rezone 1.23 -acres of land west of Womack <br />Road and north of 5313 and 5319 Womack Road from Residential Agricultural/MH (RA/MH) district to <br />Light Industrial (LI) district. The lot is the same as depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9645.02, Tax Parcel <br />9645-77-1723, Lee County Land Records. It is also the same as Lot 1 illustrated on a survey map <br />recorded in Plat Cabinet 7, Slide 32H, Lee County Registry of Deeds; and <br />WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Lee County Planning Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners conducted a public hearing on May 22, <br />2014 to receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approves the request to amend the <br />Official Zoning Map of Lee County, North Carolina; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS: <br />The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone Lee County Tax Parcel 9645-77-1723 <br />from Residential Agricultural/MH (RA/MH) district to Light Industrial (LI) district.
