Box 3729 <br />City Attorney Sanford, NC 27331 -3729 <br />LEE COUNTY <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />THIS DEED OF EASEMENT dated this day of , 2015 <br />between LEE COUNTY one of the counties of the State of North CarolirVa and a bloy both politic <br />and corporate, (hereinafter called "Grantor"), and the City of Sanford, a municipal corporation <br />located in Lee County, State of North Carolina (hereinafter called "Grantee'. <br />THAT WHEREAS, Grantor is the owner of a tract of land situated in the City of Sanford, <br />West Sanford Township, Lee County, North Carolina, which is described in a certain deed <br />recorded in Book 356. Page 509, Lee County Registry; and <br />WHEREAS, Grantee has requested and Grantors have agreed to grant to the Grantee a <br />variable width temporary construction easement as shown on attached Exhibit "A" to be used as <br />staging area for a sidewalk project as shown on the map attached as Exhibit "A ", over the lands <br />of Grantor for the installation of sidewalk, utilities, ingress and egress; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Grantor, in consideration of the sum of one ($1.00) dollar and other <br />valuable consideration, in hand paid by Grantee, the receipt and sufficiency of which Is hereby <br />acknowledged, do hereby give, grant, sell, and convey to Grantee, its successors and assigns, <br />a variable width temporary construction easement for the inspection, operation, maintenance, <br />repair and use of said sidewalk and utilities; said easement as shown in Exhibit "A ". <br />Said variable width temporary construction easement is conveyed, as shown on Exhibit <br />"A" and shall terminate thirty (30) days after the completion of the installation of the sidewalk. <br />
