B. <br />_ Information <br />Meeting Date: February 2, 2015 Action Item <br />XX Consent Agenda <br />SUBJECT Appointments /Re- Appointments to the Juvenile Crime <br />Prevention Council (JCPC) <br />DEPARTMENT Administration <br />CONTACT PERSON Gaynell Lee, Clerk to the Board <br />REQUEST Appointments /Re- Appointments to the Juvenile Crime <br />Prevention Council <br />SUMMARY The Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) is in need of <br />an appointment to said Board from the Health Department due to the resignation of the former <br />member. According to Statute, the Health Department Director, or his designee, must serve on this <br />Board. Health Director Terrell Jones has assigned this designation to Juan Diaz - Franco, who is <br />willing and interested in serving. <br />The Board is also in need of two (2) youths under the age of 18. Ms. Gabrielle ( Gabbi) Parker has <br />submitted an application to serve in one of these two positions. <br />Three (3) individuals are up for re- appointment: (1) Dr. Johnnye Waller, School Superintendent <br />designee, (2) Markita McCrimmon, Concerned Citizen, and (3) Chris Autry, DA appointee.
