BK 00027 PG <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />OF LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received from Sandra <br />Fleming, Judy Leslie, James Clifton and Chris Layne to rezone from Residential Agricultural <br />(RA) district to Highway Commercial (HC) district two (2) adjoining lots located west of <br />Hawkins Avenue and addressed as 3309 and 3313 Hawkins Avenue. The properties are the <br />same as depicted on Lee County Tax Map 9644.01, Tax Parcels 9644 -49 -2269, and 9644 -49- <br />2604, Lee County Land Records. The properties are also the same as Lots 26 - *28 on a map of <br />the A. E. Bridges Subdivision recorded in Plat Cabinet 2, Slide 390, and Lots 16 - *28 on a map <br />for the Layne Family Investments LLC recorded in Plat Cabinet 2007, Slide 26, Lee County <br />Registry of Deeds; and <br />WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Lee County Planning Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners conducted a public hearing on December <br />15, 2014 to receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approves the request to amend the <br />Official Zoning Map of Lee County, North Carolina; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS: <br />The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone Lee County Tax Parcels 9644 -49 -2269 <br />and 9644 -49 -2604 from Residential Agricultural (RA) district to Highway Commercial (HC) <br />district.
